For over five decades, St. Mary's Forane Church Corporate Schools has stood as a beacon of values-based education in Cherthala. What began as a single institution has grown into a family of four schools serving thousands of students.
Guided by faith, discipline and a commitment to holistic development, our schools have shaped generations of confident, capable and compassionate citizens — and that journey continues today.

At St. Mary's, we believe every child carries a unique spark. Our role is to nurture that spark with care, challenge it with rigour and guide it with values — so that it grows into a confident, capable and kind individual.
We invite every family to become part of our story.
— The Manager
Our schools were founded by the visionary clergy and laity of St. Mary's Forane Church, Muttom, who believed that quality education is the surest path to the upliftment of the community. (This section can be updated from the admin panel with the names, photographs and details of the founders.)

Built in AD 1023, St. Mary's Forane Church — known locally as Muttath Palli, Muttom, Cherthala — stands as a symbol of strong Christian faith and the spiritual renaissance of Muttom. Rebuilt around 1600 under Portuguese artistry, it is one of the most beautiful and largest churches in the region.
The statue of Mother Mary Immaculate, established in 1904, makes Muttom a famous pilgrim centre where people of all faiths come to pray. Everything seen here wordlessly speaks of history and heritage.
St. Mary's Forane Church belongs to the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly of the Syro-Malabar Church. The Archdiocese has a long and distinguished tradition of service in education, healthcare and social upliftment across Kerala, and our schools are proud to carry forward that mission.
